With 34 members aged between 29 and 80, from as far afield as Bretby and Stapenhill it just goes to show that there is still huge support for the principles and values upheld by the WI. One of the latest gauntlets they are running is the Love Food Champions Project showing how Love Food groups across England successfully cut their food waste by half! Love food, Hate waste!

On Saturday 24th May the new group stages their first big event at Tatenhill Village Hall from 2 till 5 with a skittles competition and hog roast, supplied by The Butcher, the Baker and Icecream Maker from Barton Marina. Plus there is also a wide variety of WI stalls and local businesses purveying their wares – including of course your favourite local food source, Our Produce.
